The Canyon
The Canyon consists of a very deep cut in the reef, forming two vertical walls starting at 35ft (10m). going down as deep as 140ft (42 m), and only 20ft (7m) apart at its narrowest The sides of this impressive formation consist of plate, sheet, cactus coral and spiraling down , wire coral. Gray snappers, Spanish grunts, bogas, moray eels, hamlet fish and creole wrasse are among the inhabitants of the reef. Sometimes you
will see spotted eagle rays "flying" along the wall.
