Negril sets the example for peaceful, warm, turquoise blue waters, extending for seven continuous miles of white beach, Negril‘s famous “7-Mile Beach“…the ideal spot to become certified or for beginning or advanced divers. The Negril Scuba Centre offers a large selection of diving packages for all levels of divers. Also, Marine Life Divers located at Drumville Cove Resort on West End of Negril offering PADI Certifications in English and German, in addition to many advanced Certifications.

However, diving off shore without a licensed Dive Association Operator is prohibited. Marine Park regulations are as follows:

1. Stay at least 2 ft. above the reef.
2. Do not stand on or touch the coral.
3. Do not take any underwater souvenirs.
4. Do not wear gloves.

Please note that it is illegal to purchase or possess ANY turtle or coral products. Lobster hunting is illegal from April through June 30. Please help preserve Jamaica’s beautiful oceans for many future generations to enjoy!
